Where it all began

In college, I would always blow dry my roommate’s hair; I loved how happy it would make her (she has lots of hair). And that feeling of making someone feel good about themselves is permanently stuck. I loved the time that we spent chatting and catching up.

How I got here

I have been in the industry for six years. I went to beauty school in Madison in 2018. I worked at Aniu Salon & Spa to start my career before founding Ember Hair & Co.

My role

I am 50% owner of the business. I take clients to the salon during the week. I manage our social media and work with our brides to schedule us on their special day.

The mission

Our mission is to create an environment where people feel welcomed and honestly heard about their hair needs. We strive to be open and honest with our clients while providing the best care for each client.

How we’re different

I think our integrity in our work and client connections are more than just “getting” your hair done. We want to build long-lasting relationships with our clients so they feel comfortable trusting us and our professional opinions.

Outside of the salon

I love getting together with friends and trying new places to eat. I’m also hanging out with all three of my fur babies. I am always working on house projects or DIY—anything that I love.

Describe Lyndse

She’s passionate, loyal, and one of the best people you’ll meet.
